Tony Pascal: I recorded a bunch of songs that my father recorded years ago off of a cassette tape. I would like an audio filter to help clean up the noise of the hiss. Can you recommend one?

George Whittam: Thomas:A feature I would really appreciate is an "Input monitor" button which will enable the meters so that it isn't necessary to start recording to set levels. Another button or checkbox to enable "pass through monitoring" would be helpful, rather than just having it in the Preferences panel.

George Whittam: Thomas:From the voice-over trenches...1- Ability to turn off the scroll right side only while recording and have it scroll all the way across (as in most other DAW's).2- Some features from Sound Studio 3.5 my users miss, such as "Split by Markers" and "Interpolate", which is different from "auto extend selection at zero crossing". 3- When using multitrack recording hardware, one must quit TW after re-ordering the input or output channels for the changes to go into effect. I have a Mackie 1640i 16 channel firewire mixer and we do this step often, but having to restart TW each time is a hassle. Thanks, I turn new users on to TW almost every day!George

George Whittam: My friend is editing long seminar recordings, many over an hour long. Twisted Wave tends to freeze during the save, stuck with a pinwheel, if she saves files over an hour long.If she splits them into sizes under an hour, no problem.TW 1.9 on OS 10.5.8
